Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating

As a Certified Eating Disorders Dietitian, I provide nutrition therapy for eating disorders such as Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and other disordered eating behaviors.  Whether you are in recovery  or just starting your journey, I can help.

Early identification and interventions when treating eating disorders have been shown to lead to the best recovery outcomes. Whether you are looking for support for a child, adolescent, or adult, I can help you develop a personalized approach so that you can achieve sustainable  recovery.

A multi-team approach is vital in treating eating disorders. Throughout our work together, I’ll consult and coordinate care with the necessary providers to ensure that you’re getting appropriate care.

Families play an important role in the recovery process.

I make it a priority to support the whole family. I encourage the family to be a part of the recovery process and will include them as much as possible, especially with young children and adolescents. Families play a vital role in supporting their loved ones and often need support of their own. I’ll provide education and guidance to help families learn nutrition-related skills to support their loved ones and help to heal the family as a whole.
